Hi! I'm a custom VW enthusiast who's been building VWs for more years than I care to remember. One of my tangent interests is in motorcycles. This is a shot of my personal 3-wheeler put on the road in 1974. I fabricated virtually all the non-VW parts myself (not a kit!). Although I have built and helped on several others of these, this one was my first, my own, and is therefore special. I keep it in perfect running condition, ride it regularly, and have shown it here and there in local shows with good results. The paint is blue, tangerine, and silver metalflake and the engine is a lightly modified 1967 - 53hp with a Judson supercharger on top. A great and fun project carried out in a little 10x10 building during my college days! ..... Larry Reed

Here's another little 3-wheel project I've got going on. Full bodied fiberglass body on steel tubing chassis, VW transaxle, rear suspension, and motor. Cockpit door (including windshield) tilts up and forward for entry to two bucket seats. All gauges as well as heater system will be functional - a year round custom. The honeycombed fiberglass body was fabricated by a local boat manufacturing company. This one will be on the road in Summer '96. Oh, by the way - I love, build, and drive VW autos, also, I'll include photos of my cars later. .... Larry
